“We put everything we had into this, and we think it has a really great ending that we’re proud of,” Grabinski told Rolling Stone.īoth creators noted that just because they don’t have plans for a second season, it’s not impossible, just very unlikely. Grabinski had similar feelings, saying that they weren’t working on anything and had no official ideas. So we hedged our bets immediately, and tried to make a self-contained one season.” We don’t have any ideas lying on the floor.” Taking his point even further, O’Malley added, “People are always complaining about how shows get canceled after one season. In an interview with Rolling Stone, O’Malley said, “We loved what we did. Co-creators Bryan Lee O’Malley and BenDavid Grabinski have said there aren’t plans for a season 2, and that the story is designed to be self-contained and completed after the first season.
